Old Friends

I just received a visit from one of my oldest and dearest friends and it was so great to see her! She was driving through on her way to Florida and stopped for the night. I don't get to see her very often so it was so awesome! I was able to take the day off of work and spend some time with her just the two of us.

I have three very good friends from back home and I love spending time with them. I miss them so much! We have that kind of relationship where you can go all year without talking, but when we are together it feels like we haven't been apart. I am sooo lucky to have each of them in my life.

I have to say that they would be about the only reason I would move home. I never imagined not raising our kids together and it makes me sad that I am not a big part in their kid's lives. It makes me even sadder that they aren't a big part in my kid's lives.

I hope they know how much I love them and miss them!
